Blessed Thursday storm troopers!
Well, what a day so far! This week has been the week where I have gone through all the gods and their significant days and honourings. Yesterdays Odin, Mercury, Hermes day saw a piece called ‘Own your mind, change the world‘, because, as the God of transumtational alchemy, mind mastery and the all seeing all knowing, it is the day to put your magic into practice through writing, poetry, conversation, reading, spellcrafts, sigils, wisdom and intentional awareness!
But today is the day the Olympic games begin!

This week has been the first week after a long, hard summer where the kids have gone back to school and my early morning walks resume. I will not lie, it has not been an easy transition to 5am starts or any form of movement after an unbearable summer locked in one room that delivers aircon with very minimal movement because I am not a heat person so my bones and muscles are no longer used to this however, I have got up and done it…
Each day has been a tough start, my hips have hurt, my ankles feel weird but I told myself that I just need to keep going and it will get back to being easy like it was before the heat killed me. Yesterday was by far the worse day as I also swam and did some serious hip openers but this morning, Thursday, I bolted out of bed with lightning in my veins!
I AM ELECTRIC!
Zeus has a rule that one must never disregard a beggar or a stranger seeking shelter for you never know, they could be gods in disguise. He has a rule called ‘Xenia’, meaning guest friendship and he placed these qualities in his children, the travellers and hospitable folk, otherwise known as those falling under the sign of Pisces and Sagittarius, for they are ruled by the planet Jupiter, his latin counterpart. He is also the planet that rules large animals, majestic beasts and domestic pets and he is also the ruler of the weather, controlling the skies, thunder and storms!

If you are also born on a Thursday, you are indeed ruled by Jupiter. I am a Sagittarius born on a Thursday so I am a child of this god and a lover of all folk and beast that wander wild and free, the storms the skies and the creatures of the fields.
Which is why today, I am writing this to you!
Thursday, THORSday is the day of the protector of the realm! The king and the warrior, the defender of chaos and the preserver of order. He expects his people to work hard and rewards the worker that puts effort into hard labor and graft in the fields and communities, virtuous efforts delivering strength and fortitude to the masses so that they may receive abundance in return.
As the greater benefic, which basically means ‘the giver of good things’ he is known to bring a sense of divine protection, luck, and a safety net that helps you bounce back from tough times.
The quest is to armour up and seize the day by means of manual efforts. Train, move, dig, throw, lift whether that be on the land, in your home, with your work, in your mind but most importantly in your spirit. Embody the warrior and whoever crosses your path, treat them with ernest respect and consideration otherwise, you might be punished.
Jupiter daddy doesn’t like arrogant bigots that belittle others. No, he sets tests for you to redeem yourself in character and prove you are divine enough through means of how you treat others. The test may look like this, and I will base it off the Odyssey, which most of you are now familiar with:
The test: When Odysseus finally returns home, he disguises himself as a dirty beggar.
The bad guys: The mean suitors treat him terribly, throw a stool at him, and mock him.
The warning: One of the suitors gets nervous and warns the others that the beggar might be a god in disguise checking on their behaviour.
The lesson: The suitors fail the test, and Odysseus punishes them later for breaking the rules of hospitality.
Let’s just say, if you’re a sucky king or queen, you will pay divine consequence! Hmmmm, let’s see! Let the games begin!
If you want to honour the gods on this fine Thursday, depending on which clan you’re from aka, Latin, Greek or Nord in your blood, you can either start the day with:
PHYSICAL EXERCISE – Get outside and move! And when you do, write a T or a Z in the sky so that your god see’s your message of intention. (T= Thor, Z= Zeus, Z being the lightning bolt)
BE HOSPITABLE AND RESPECTFUL – Whoever crosses your path, honour them. Help where help is needed. Protect your community and all those within it. If there are conflicts that arise, stand true to the quest of resolution and justice. Be not afraid and wear your suit of armour to protect you and others!
SPENT TIME WITH ANIMALS – Walk your dogs, listen to the birds, daddy rules the sky so look up! Walk with the cows, horses and goats. Drink goats milk and pour a glass for him to in honour and thanks and in return he will repay you. He likes beer and wine too!
WORK HARD – Whatever it is you do, do it well! Put your back into your labor and tasks. Make efforts to build projects up and elevate them and do so with integrity and authenticity. He knows when you’re bullshitting and faking so do the job properly with honest intention!
STUDY HARD – Learn stuff! Expand your mind! n astrology, Jupiter governs the 9th House, which is the house of higher education, philosophy, religion, and deep belief systems.
While the planet Mercury (Odin, Woden) rules your everyday thoughts, reading, and logical facts, Jupiter takes those facts and looks for the deeper meaning. Jupiter asks: “Why are we here?” and “What is the greater truth?”
Jupiter rules philosophy because it embodies:
- The Big Picture: Looking at the whole universe instead of small, daily details.
- Wisdom Over Knowledge: Turning what we learn into deep, lifelong understanding.
- Ethics and Morals: Figuring out the right and just way for humans to live.
OFFER A BLOT -A Blót is a traditional Norse ritual where offerings are made to a deity to build a relationship based on reciprocity (giving a gift for a gift). So have a feast day with red meat, grains, onions and root vegetables! And don’t forget to leave him out some goats milk, kind of like we do for santa but every Thursday is the day to pour a glass to Zeus, Jupiter, Thor
STORM CHANTS – For the lovers of the storms, step outside during one and say thanks out loud for the sky magic! I live in Cyprus and I am currently praying for rain!
Thor represents the sudden shift into the Present. You can’t debate a thunderstorm. You can’t negotiate with a falling hammer. He forces others out of their heads and into their actions. He represents a kind of absolute truth: eventually, you have to stop defining who you are by what you say, and start defining who you are by what you do.

THE DAYS OF THE WEEK BY TRIAL AND TRIBULATION
Monday’s child poem, first recorded by A.E Bray’s traditions of Devonshire
Monday’s child is fair of face,
Tuesday’s child is full of grace,
Wednesday’s child is full of woe,
Thursday’s child has far to go,
Friday’s child is loving and giving,
Saturday’s child works hard for a living,
And the child that is born on the Sabbath Day,
Is bonny and blithe and good and gay
A more modern, regional version that puts Sunday 1st sings:
Sunday’s child is full of grace,
Monday’s child is full in the face,
Tuesday’s child is solemn and sad,
Wednesday’s child is merry and glad,
Thursday’s child is inclined to thieving,
Friday’s child is free in giving,
And Saturday’s child works hard for his living.
Im not sure about the Thursday re-write haha. Someone who takes instead of gives is the opposite of what Thursday is all about. Perhaps that is the warning?
SO, WHAT DAY OF THE WEEK ARE YOU?
This piece below was written by a guy on X that likes to speak sounds of the gods. I will share as today, he writes about how you must grip your axe and stand strong, knowing you’re protected by the ruler of Thursday and this realm! Reverant:
The Gods do not weave fates for those who lay their weapons down and wait for pity.
Drag the illusion of helplessness to the altar and sacrifice it upon the fire. To weep as a victim is sweet poison as it absolves you of your agency. Pointing outward to a bad roll of fate or the malice of others keeps the spirit chained in learned helplessness.
The strong do not wait for a merciful judgment from the assembly of sheep. From this hour, you must carry the whole weight of your fate upon your own shoulders, as the Allfather bore his trials upon the tree.
If the line breaks beside you, look first to your own grip of axe and spear… if an oath has been broken and caused you harm or loss… measure instead where your own vigilance failed and find what allowed it happen.
From this day forward, everything that happens is your fault. You will find agency there but you will never find it if you lie to yourself.
You don’t pray to Thor because you thought he loved you. No, you gave an offering to acknowledge his power and in hopes that it would tilt the scales… passing by your home bringing a gentle rain instead of a flash flood. Protecting your home and bringing ruin to your enemies. It is a relationship built on profound respect for a dangerous equal, wrapped in the language of hospitality. This worldview doesn’t demand that people change their fundamental nature to please some far off distant flawless deity. Instead, it offered a mirror to a higher being, a higher self. If you felt consumed by grief, battle-lust, passionate desire, or creative madness, you weren’t “sinning” but instead you were simply being touched by or intentionally tapping into a specific current of the universe. Become worthy of this for a new Age of Heroes is upon us – do let yourself lay broken on the shore. Get up, you aren’t dead yet. Find your brothers.

BE AUTHENTIC – BE BOLD – BE HONOURABLE – PROTECT OTHERS – OFFER SHELTER – WORK HARD – PLAY HARD – FEAST WELL
LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
