Welcome to all aspiring IR students that are either finalising secondary / high school and about to embark on a BA or, for any student wanting to find out if IR is the right course for them
This course is a fantastic EXTRA-CURRICULAR pre-BA introduction program written by IR professors and those working in the fields across various Universities and IR related environments aimed at providing you with the introductory pathways and skills required to develop your understanding and allow you to further know what to expect from a full BA program. A great tool before you invest in your future and a fantastic way to get a head start for when you do begin

While we work across many Universities and Institutes in the UK and EU, in particular with institutes based on Geneva where their BA courses are affiliated with WFUNA, an NGO in the United nations Geneva and their internships expect that students joining have a high level of understanding of cross-cultural and sectoral disciplinaries

Anyone that completes this program will be certificated through the HP Humanities Pathways, which is an acting body for all our sponsor Universities and will enable you to use your pathway certificate to support your appications as pre-IR recognition if enrolling in any school affiliated with us – We act on behalf of all our students to assist in facilitating semester abroad options so that you can complete UN internships and other work experience opportunities alongside your studies wherever you study as an integrated and additional IR pathway. NB: This is an extra-curricular program and is NOT accredited via a University or state governed body
WHATS INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM?

THE FULL CURRICULUM INCLUDES:
- An introduction to IR audio brief written by professor Walter Merz and read by our IR student counsellor Kathryn asher
- An ethical dilema, Diplomacy under pressure and crisis management mini workshop before we start the 30 day assessment program. (This helps you understand your diplomatic identity at the get go)
- A 30 day IR workshop focusing on: Power, sovereignty and truth, War, peace and moral dilema, Identity, Culture and Values and Leadership, Ethics and The Future
- A BA inspired case study to give you a feel for the next level of studies that lay ahead
- A full range of audios
- An invitation to an IR post grad career pathway WEBINAR to help you develop what comes next before you even start. Portfolios over pathways to help you get ahead! (This is an add on for an extra cost for those that wish to join. It is not obligatory)





This program has been written by professor Walter Merz who is a USA Ecology professor and Science and Environmental Diplomat in Germany. It is hosted and coordinated by Kathryn asher, who works at the International Institute Geneva guiding and inspiring students from all over the world to become future WORLD LEADERS!
Kathryn will be hosting your Career Development pathway webinar and as she speaks to students every single day, any advice on IR related study and work fields can be answered in detail for those of you interested in joining!
