TUESDAY – IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF DEMONS, IT’S BECAUSE YOU HAVEN’T MET YOURSELF!

Happy Tuesday all,

Welcome to the battle ground, where one can only find peace and success when you have walked through the portal of fear and faced your demons. Tuesday is the day of the old English god Tiw, the god that Tuesday, or Tiwesdaeg is named after, also compared to the old Norse god, Tyr who is described by the Icelandic Eddas as the god of battle, bravery and peace making.

The Romans called Tuesday dies Martis, the day of Mars, Martes and it’s generally thought that Tuesday received its English name in recognition that Tiw was the Germanic equivalent of the Roman god of war, Mars, the planet most now recognize as being the ruler of the cosmos opposing Venus in the grand battle between love and war, struggle and peace, life and death.

That in order to win the battle and seek the trophy, one must stand and fight however one must do so according to our own unique personal battle within and without. The microcosm v the macrocosm.

I have spoken about how the days of the week we live by are set to the Gregorian calendar, which we have lived by since 1582 when it was introduced by Pope Gregory XIII to reform the Julian calendar and realign the solar year with the vernal equinox. It has become the universal framework for synchronizing global dates, digital systems, and government operations.

Whether you like it or not, (I have always questioned time and someTIMES viewed it as a manmade construct), where it is in fact a construct placed before us by the gods and, if we chose to live according to the godly calendar, we can indeed be rewarded for our battles, our fights, or efforts, our triumphs etc so that we may complete each week with eaither success of otherwise and sieze the glory of ‘the day’ where we may be rewarded by the gods in return.

I did a post last night about how utterly wrong it is that in the corporate contruct, we are encouraged to battle through each day of each week with everything same same. Every day playing the same role, with the same energy, doing the same thing day from sunrise to sunset so the machine can tick tock and thrive, where in fact, if we use the days for how they are divinely systemised and structure with their purpose in mind, we could in fact change the entire outcome of how we live our lives.

I’ll give you an example.

I, like the rest of you work. I , like the rest of you have to to put the bread on the table however, I am very lucky that I have a leader aka ‘my boss’ who allows me to do that autonomously, in my own time frame, without being micromanaged and that as long as I get what needs to get done done, all is good!

So, when I start the my week, on a Monday (MOON DAY – Old English Mōnandæġ (“Mōna’s day”), Old Norse Mánadagr, Roman moon goddess Luna (Lundi, Lunes, Lunedì),) I know that the Moon day is reflective. It is the day to reflect and plan your week ahead. It is. NOT an action day in the same way today, Tuesday is because it requires a totally different type of energy and outcome.

I spoke yesterday while I was out on my Monday morning walk about how for me, having my moon in Aries, the sign of the warrior means that in order for me to be reflective with this energy, I HAVE TO MOVE! I have to channel my inner fire and get the tank warmed up for the week ahead so, I have to burn old energy, move my body because it’s a very physical placement and only once I’ve done this can I sit down and write, plan, think clearly, channel efficiently and execute the outcome.

So, if I don’t start work until 9.30 because I’ve got to move shit first and get the tank fired up, that is fine by my boss and it’s fine by me! It’s not only fine. It’s damn well essential!

I try to not plan anything that required ACTION outwardly until after Monday. If I can’t, ok, but Monday for me is getting the rest of the week ready for battle. Prepping my calendar and tasks, responding to emails, writing out notes and duties, checking the lists are set, taking inventory, making sure meals for the week ahead are in order (Sometimes this is done over the weekend but not always, I will explain why later) and making sure that I feel strong, healthy, balanced and ready for the fight so that come Friday, I can finish off the week with grace and peace! (Because that is what Friday is all about.)

But here we are, on Tuesday!

The day I have all my meetings. Where we talk about our strategy and execution plans. Where we discuss the prior week and the week ahead. We always have our meetings in the morning so that come the afternoon, we can start to move onto the battlefield and……

BRING THE ACTION! LEADERS – TAKE NOTE!

That’s when all my calls happen, my negotiations, my internal input gets transmuted into OUTPUT and externalised in the hopes of a succesful outcome by means of however one works, for me its in education so I have to be organised, structured and meet the fight in the classrooms and with students, marketing teams, teachers and administrators, curriculum designers, student finance bodies, accreditors and so on.

But the battle isn’t just work related. No way! The battle is YOU soldier! Tuesday, Tiw, Tyr, Mars is all about HOW YOU ARE GOING TO GET WHAT YOU WANT. How are you going to successfully strategise your plan and go and get your reward? What is it going to take? What resources do you need? How will you ask for that / demand it? Will you lead the battle or be led? What are your strenghts in battle? Are you a frontliner or an administrator? A warrior or a priest? A nobleman or a knight? A king or a child?

ALL are perfect – Not one is above another although the hierarchy would state otherwise because the hierarchy only exists because within it, everyone plays their role. The objective however is, to play your role brilliantly so that you can upgrade to the higher level.

This realm is a divine game! The roles we play, the masks we wear, the costumes we dorn and badges we display are all symbolic of the game and the beauty of it is that YOU GET TO CHOSE exactly how you are going to SIEZE THE DAY!

So, when your corporate boss tells you ‘No, Susan. You can’t do it that way, you have to only do it this way ———————-‘ your boss is a loser that is setting the whole thing up for failure but, ok, Susan, you might have to play by the dumbass rules a little but, that doesn’t mean you can’t bring your influence and magic and bend the rules so that they can work in your favour. This is how we change the system. How we get ahead. How we expand and grow!

This is when you need to become the cosmic strategist and perhaps understand that sure, you can’t do it all your way but you can influence the procedure. This is entirely what this post is about. To give you the courage to stand as the unique icon that you are and know what your strenghts and weaknesses are and how you can use them effectively in the game to benefit yourself, your fellow soldiers and the empire you represent.

We mustn’t be afraid of challenges or demons. They are our biggest teachers and once we face them, we face ourselves! We start to really know ourselves as the battle commanders we are!

So these battles on a Tuesday are work related, personal and private yet outwardly expressed. They can respresent how you handle your work tasks, your family obligations, your personal commitments, your physical body, your mind, heart and emotions, your sexual health, your spiritual health and anything and everything that makes you the whole version of who you are showing up in the game to fight and win.

Tuesday is all about strategy and that can be logistical yet also beautiful. It can involve team work but also personal growth. It can be mental but also emotional depending on how you chose to play it or what is required to be overcome.

The cosmos works as a geometric mathematical structure with its trines, squares, oppositions and conjunctions. The energy through which performs a dance throughout and you soldier, are the dancer!

You are required to tap into the energy of yourself, others and the cosmic stage in order to know whether the dance is a ballet, a flamenco or a hip hop beat. Whether there’s an orchestra leading you to battle or a solo violin. Whether the battlefield will be filled with many others in the same fight as you or whether you will stand alone and fight.

TODAY MY DOGS JOINED ME ON THE STOMPING GROUND AS WE JOURNEYED PAST THE SUNKEN SHIPS

What tools will you use? Sticks, stones, swords or your minds eye? What resources do you have? Money, weapons, thoughts or memory? How long will the battle go on for? A day of a life time?

Soldiers, battles are best fought when we are aware we are even in one and that whatever you are fighting for hold valour and purpose and even if you die on the field, the gods will reward you for trying because we are all here to level up and put on our best performance

So, on this divine Tuesday, I urge you to put on your shield of armour and SIEZE THE DAY however you are so required to do so so that come Saturday, when the week has completed, you can sit back and chat to the god of time himself, Saturn and go through what you’ve learned. How you’ve build your empire. What you did to own the fight and once he has had the review with you, he will talk to the sun and see whether your SUNDAY will be a worthy one or not!

The challenge is yours. Do you accept?
