Welcome to WEEK 3 –

WEEK 3
OBJECTIVES FOR WEEK 3
- Mirror mirror on the wall – Looking at the cognitive psychology of the mirror image and how we can use mirror to practice self-reflection and recognition
- Anima Animus – The transcending of the psyche
- How the transcending of the personal subconscious through shadow work can awaken the anima / animus in us
- The power of the subconscious / unconscious mind and how it can help us shift our current reality
- Archetypes – Exploring the archetypal persona and identities whilst also exploring the concepts of identity layer shedding
- Communication and how dialogues from past forms of communication have been causes of psycho-linguistic trauma and programming
- Changing the ways we talk to ourselves and others
- Looking at how the past has hurt us through false perceptions, limiting beliefs and people pleasing
- Empaths v Narcissists
- An introduction into catharsis and cognitive insights. The cleansing and purification process starts here
- ASSIGNMENT 3 – Let’s get serious about what our future looks like. In order to do that, we need to TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY. We’ve laid the ground work now. This is a time to visualize what we want and structure out how we’re going to get it
In week 3, we are going to look at ways in which we can change/ re-boot the operating system. Having retrograded back to the past to identify areas and experiences in which things ‘went wrong’, we are now going to get our problem solving hats on and look deeply for solutions and HOW WE CAN MAKE THEM RIGHT – ‘Will to power’ and how to control your own mind through re-programming, psycho-linguistic programming and the power of visualization and catharsis cleaning are just a few ways we are going to start to implement solutions. This will cover the body / brain connection, how our mind works and why and how to shift things so that you can start to take the power back with how you think, act and feel on a daily basis ON YOUR OWN TERMS and with you in control at all times

THIS MODULE IS GOING TO BE A BIG ONE! BE PREPARED! FOR THE SAKE OF TIME AND SPACE HERE, I HAVE RECORDED THE BELOW AS AN AUDIO FOR EASE AND ACCESSIBILITY AS IT’S QUITE LENGTHY
BUT LET’S GO!

Have you ever had a conversation with yourself? A quick morning ramble? A chat in the car? A cry in the mirror? A conversation with an imaginary friend?
In our follow on workshop MIRROR MIRROR, we will go deeper into the explorations of SELF and the journey into the complex understandings of WHO WE ARE, WHERE WE ARE AND WHY WE ARE but for the basics of looking at things from a metamorphic perspective in this module 3, we are going to set the ground work and foundations for what participation and behaviour we very often engage in and expose ourselves to on a daily basis often without conscious thought or knowing that we’re doing it and that is on the topic of HOW WE COMMUNICATE WITH OURSELVES in order to self reflect and understand the connection to self within our familiar or sometimes unfamiliar surroundings.
The reason that MODULE 3 will look at the cathartic process and psycho-linguistic programming in so much detail is not because I believe that these principles or codes of practice are THE ONLY WAY TO HEAL or the hacks required in order to solve your problems and seek dominion over your hardships but, they’re a really good tool to access when aiming to discover greater and deeper connections to self where we can really start to understand or whole selves, MIND, BODY, SPIRIT, EMOTIONS, THOUGHTS, SENSATIONS, FEELINGS, SURROUNDINGS and all things that correspond to the whole experience on a deeper level.
Now, let’s just reflect for a moment on why these modules are structured the way that they are. In our intro video, I speak about how in order to heal trauma, we must go back to the trauma ROOT CAUSE – THE VERY BEGINNING. This is where this project and journey could get very deep very fast which is also why I set up the workshop to follow MIRROR MIRROR because I could not input what I wish to say there, here because it is hugely complex and expansive. For the purpose of the beginning, where what we are aiming to achieve is to simply lay foundations and building blocks so that we may start the healing journey, we need to step gently into the process as we don’t want to add any more overwhelm, weight or baggage into the equation.
That said, none of what I am delivering to you is necessarily heavy weight in the sense that it is dark or upsetting but, rather that I feel the journey must be done in stages so one can grow slowly, steadily, like a tree laying roots so that once it reaches a height it may spread out its branches with strength and maturity and not be bothered by the wind or harmed by the storms.
A strong tree delivers shade to others, blooms in season for itself and others and ripens with age, reaching unbreakable limits both above and below. We will see when we get through the foundational workshops and into the later stages, should you wish to participate that the real lessons do not come from cathartic processes of analysis of psycholinguistic or neuro linguistic programming but rather from a connection to spirit, a message in the winds, a connection to the unseen and unknown in ways that words can’t truly express and while I speak this you might query ‘what on earth is she talking about’ and I will say to you, ‘If you have to question that, you are not ready to know the answer, but if you are ready to start at the beginning and seek and ye shall find the first clues to who you are, why you’re here and how the puzzle pieces fit together in a way that is practical, logical and makes some sort of sense then that is why this ROOT CAUSE FOUNDATIONAL COURSE is the best place to start, From there you can go as far and deep as you like
So, for the interest of going deep on this journey and processing the content in a way that I believe makes more connective sense, we are looking at how implementing art, literature and music can help us better understand our history, past present and future, ancestrally, historically, philosophically, psychologically and spiritually.
As I stated in the beginning, the beginning is a very good place to start…..We are humans, in human bodies. I know I know we are far far deeper than that but, right now, I AM Kathryn. I AM 44. 1 AM a mother, a wife, I AM British, I AM 5ft 5, I AM white, I AM BLAH BLAH BLAH. WE ARE all different but, we are all the same in that we are all seeking self and seeking something greater in truth and connection to the bigger picture.
We like to think, as humans with human minds, that we are here as humans, in bodies moving around learning to walk and talk so that we can go to school and learn the things so that we can get the jobs and expand our intel so that we can earn the money to buy the good things and climb the tower to the top so that we can stand there proud with all the stuff we’ve accomplished and accumulated and then……die.
What a life! Great isn’t it! What’s the point at all of all of that? And this is the very question that gets people triggered, whether they are triggered consciously or not to know that deep down, they are more than that. Not many of us question, do we have souls, or what is a soul. What is a spirit and how are we spirits embodied in human bodies? Not many consider that before anything else, we are souls having a human experience rather than humans having a soulful one. Because not many really know they have a soul because the question of what a soul is runs far deeper than questioning what our body is. We know what our body is. We can see it, feel it, touch it….We know what our mind is. It often is what’s firing on all cylinders working overtime, crashing and colliding thoughts and collecting memories all day long through our plentiful tasks and obligations.
We don’t really understand our emotions or where they come from because we’re only at the early stages of being allowed to really express them after years of suppressed reality, but do we know what a soul is? It’s too deep a question to dare to answer hence why this is done in stages because unless you can connect your body mind and senses in alignment in a way that on a very basic foundational level is needed, the rest won’t be allowed to shine through.
Literally! And I’m not saying you need to be thin, fit, physique like Elle Mcphereson in order to connect, NO NOT AT ALL! I am saying you need to tune in, listen, apply your senses, become grounded, mature, sensitive, sensual, BREATH! Listen and hear your inner sounds. I’ll bet you’d be shocked at the phenomenal power of what can come from silence if you let it.
If you’ve never questioned who you are or why you’re here, it could simply just mean that you’re at the starting point now. Don’t stress. We all have to start somewhere. Some of us have been on the journey of self discovery and why we are here far longer and deeper than many others. Guys, it’s not a competition. It is just why we are here and we all have to lend a hand to those around us in order to figure this out
Back in the 90’s there was a song that one of my 1st boyfriends, a guy called Chris used to play in our college dorms. It was Enigma. OUT FROM THE DEEP. My husband plays it now. I love that I have always remained on a path with like-minded people reminding me daily of these things and in case you haven’t had anyone walking that path with you, that’s why I AM here!
We came out from the deep.
To learn to love, learn how to live.
We came out from the deep.
To avoid the mistakes we made.
That’s why we are here!
That’s why we are here!
That’s why we are here!
We came out from the deep.
To help and understand, but not to kill.
It takes many lives till we succeed,
To clear the debts of, many hundred years.
That’s why we are here!
That’s why we are here!
That’s why we are here!
So, we start at the beginning. To clear debts of many hundred years so that we can CREATE better futures. But we can’t do that if we’re filled with pain, hurt, sadness, anger, grief, confusion. This is why, as we have explored through the 1st 2 primary modules, we have to know how to identify these emotions and how they show up in the body and then how to express them healthily so that they do not sit within us, harming us from progressing.
SELF REFLECTION
WHY IS SELF-REFLECTION SO IMPORTANT?
Many of us can say, similar to as I have done above, I AM Kathryn, I AM 44, I LIKE noodles and spicy food, I LIKE swimming in the sea, I DON’T LIKE wet public swimming pool shower floors with hair, I THINK a lot about things I know are not important. I FEEL a lot about things that I know are important. I KNOW that Chopin calms me down. I KNOW that alcohol and heavy metal rock do not!
But how often do I stop and pay attention to the things I like, don’t like, do or don’t do in order to make my experience more awake and aware? For example: I used to love rock music (I still do) but if I danced around to rock music in a public place full of others on a mad vibe, drinking and all the rest, I would inevitably always end up taking it too far, smoking my head off, staying up way past my bedtime and tiring out my body. Ok ok we’re all entitled to youthful good times and blow outs, I am reflecting more over the younger version of me, when I lived back in the city and everyone everywhere was up until 4am because the night only started at midnight! But then there came a time where my body asked me to slow down and I listened.
For me that time was when I hit 29. A symbolic ending to the decade of my 20’s where I finished off the epoch finding out I was pregnant with my 1st child who unbeknownst to us was announcing her arrival and wasn’t that just brilliant but, I needed to change my ways so, I swapped the madness for the mellow, threw away the ciggies and the late nights and traded them in for something far more grounded and fairy tale. To send us to sleep on sort of different late nights, I would put on Chopin. These changes not only changed my lifestyle and my body brain mechanics, they started to change my beliefs, my outlook on life, my morals, ethics, values and so much more because I was aware of them and how they played a role in the transformation of my life. This is something we all endure and journey through so, I ask you, how has your life changed over the years? What circumstances have led you to shift direction or change your path that has led to new levels of self understanding or recognition?
Have a think and either write them down or talk them out to yourself but remember, if you haven’t made changes and wish you could, write them down too because whether they have manifested or not, the point is, CHANGE STARTS WITH US and all you need is the awareness of where you want to go or who you want to be
SELF CONCEPT
What is the concept of self? How you conceptualise your SELF looks like what your traits are, what you’re good at, bad at, could be better at, what you are interested in, not interested in, your mood, relationships, roles and how all of these things encourage your behavior.
Again, I’ll go first.
I am usually the fairly chatty one. The one to ‘break a silence’ and bring everyone together. I am a real home body. Love being in my kitchen, whipping something up for everyone, hoping that everyone will stay and chat. I am occasionally hilarious. I love making people laugh. I consider myself a light and open person but I place good boundaries on myself and my family as I do also know I need a lot of alone time and I appreciate my quiet moments as they help me to process the world around me, my emotions and how I react or respond to situations.
I would do anything for anyone I love but I know I could only do that successfully according to my standards and availability. If I have enough space to collect my thoughts and feelings, enough time to prepare and plan for situations and although I am spontaneous when I can be or need to be, I do honour routine, planning, thoughtful intention and a goal in mind to be executed. If I feel too pressured to perform without proper measures or resources, I know I can be very reactional and hot headed, fanning flames over things rather than sitting quietly and strategising over how it could be better managed. I admit this and in my ‘older and wiser coming of age’ I see this far clearer than I did when I was younger and I am putting measures in place to become more thoughtful over how I can handle hot situations better.
Fighting fire with fire is not the correct response most of the time.
So you see, when we sit down as ask ourselves to reflect over our SELVES and conceptualise who and how we are, it allows us to look at the good and the bad. We have to see both for both exist as not one is perfect or without flaws. What you often see as the ‘BAD’ is actually often just a negative aspect of a personality trait that once made aware of could actually be turned into a positive trait once you a) identify the trait to begin with according to your past experiences, responses and reactions and b) showing yourself these scenarios so you can ask ‘How could I do that better next time? What could I have done differently? How could I reverse that so that it doesn’t have the same damaging outcome?
Often, the universe steers us back into situations so that we can have another review and make the changes we should or could have made before but never did.
An example; ‘A young woman in an abusive relationship where everyone around her is encouraging her to leave but she is too fearful and is tied into restricted trauma bonds where she feels unable to free herself. One day, she does leave and everyone rejoices but, 3 months later, she ends up right back in the bad situation again and no one can understand why.’
It isn’t always easy for someone to detach themselves from bonds and I will explain why from the perspective of considering our childhood selves and where most often, most of us carry similar types of trauma bonds we still as adults can’t free ourselves from
Imagine for a moment that you are a child of a particularly controlling or narcissistic individual. To some degree, those of us that are now adults with children ourselves could maybe identify with one of our parents from the older generations having displayed particular controlling roles or the alternative, where there was no direction which then leads us towards having to fend for ourselves. Either way, when we are children, if we are not steered gently, with loving support and unconditional guidance and care, what we find happens is that children will separate and disconnect parts of themselves away in order to obey and play into the roles expected of them by their parents in order to stay in connection to their caregiver. The caregiver will not have allowed you space for they didn’t understand how to create that space safely for you to be autonomously able to express yourself with emotional intelligence and authenticity. As that child, you might not have been allowed to express discontent or have needs or wants outside of our parents expectations and that then meant that we weren’t allowed to be different from them. We had to ‘follow in their footsteps’ and be the people they wanted us to be.
For our survival and our brain development we have to be connected to our parents or caregivers so those parts of ourselves that we separated from in order to ‘play their parts’ albeit without understanding why from either your side or theirs really, later on in life, we come to realise that those parts are still missing. We never really reclaimed them so we go off in search of them, unconsciously for the most part and this can lead us down a very sad, sorrowful path of crippling self doubt, life long people pleasing and severe anxiety because you were never really allowed to say, be or feel as we wanted. We had to do it all on someone else’s terms. This loss of self becomes almost like a grieving process where we suffer the consequences of the life we never got to have because we were never really fully ourselves.
The importance of going back over things in real time and also in memory recall is so that we can review the situations that played out in the hope that we can find the lost parts we left behind and stick them back on

The artist above is one of my favorite surrealist artists depicting self via pencil interpretation – @thepenrider
So the WHO WE ONCE WERE when we were younger and the WHO WE ARE NOW is really the same person but with missing parts, fractals scattered or ‘strings attached’ and a whole lot of bruises, cuts, wounds and patches in order to being the whole self back to its authentic state of being
When you sit and reflect on the concept of YOUR SELF and how your traits, moods and behaviors affect yourself and others, don’t sit and think that that’s what defines you. NO! We are not our traits, moods and behaviors. Those things are responses to how our SELF has shown up to react or respond to a situation. The key is to realise that you can transform, change, grow or evolve into your moods, traits and so on so that YOU and your SELF have the power to change the outcome of any given experience. Even the past ones
This level of self reflection is where you can almost ‘psycho analyse your self’ and know how you might react to a situation because you are a deeply sensitive person that cries often, a hot headed fire monster that can bring the rage, an introvert that’s as cool as a cucumber, a mediator that can see both sides, a campaigner that can gather the troops, a sage that can see the all.
All of these archetypes that we will get onto shortly are all type responses to our conceptualised interests that then create our mood (vision and feelings) that then influence our behavior (thought actions) that then manifest the reality into that IRL timeline (experience)
ALL THAT EXISTS ARE WAVES OF LIGHT AND SOUND AND OUR FEELINGS AND SENSORY EXPERIENCES ARE WHAT CREATE EMOTIONS, ENERGIES IN MOTION THAT THEN CREATE WAVES OF FORM / MATTER VIA HIGHS AND LOWS. ALL THAT WE ARE IS NOTHING MORE THAT A SENSORY RESPONSE TO FEELINGS. THE MORE WE UNDERSTAND THAT, THE BETTER AND BRIGHTER THE WORLD BECOMES

Just look for a moment at some of the world’s greatest actors. They are accredited STARS that have the power of personification. They can take a script (the conceptualised interest) they then put their heart and soul into the mood (vision and feelings) that personify the role that they are playing and then they turn themselves into that person through EMBODYING the vision, feelings, thoughts, behaviors and energy of this ‘character’ that they are portraying and they then CAST OUT their MANIFESTED PERSONA onto the world stage and become that embodied persona according to the scripted identity, biology, chemistry, psychology, philosophy and entire CONCEPT of that created being.
We can ALL at any moment choose to create and re-create ourselves based on all the above just the same as actors take identities and make them real. We are doing it every day but we need to become more conscious of how we are doing it so we can really bring that person to LIFE!
Have you ever thought about ‘what would happen when you die?’ – Who would read your eulogy? What would they say about you? Ah Bob, he was such a great guy, full of conviction and integrity, Always stood for what he believed in, gave back to the people like a real life Robin Hood, loved his wife like the precious jewel she is or Bob, what can we say, not much really he was a bit of a nasty bugger. Never saw him smile. He probs won’t be missed
Have you ever thought about who would play you in a movie? Who would you cast in the role of YOUR SELF? Would it be a movie worth seeing? How could you make the plot twists and the script fire off the pages and the characters flow effortlessly with grace from beginning to end? You have every right to do this. This is your life.
YOU CHOSE!
This way of looking at the life that is yours and the SELF that is YOU is a profound way of doing your duly noted due diligence on your personal tax return. It is your annual declaration that states you have CHECKED IN with yourself often enough to be able to honourably declare your ins and outs on the spreadsheet that is your experience in order to show where you have showed up or where you need to do some harder and deeper inner and outer work and figure out how next year could be better!
This SELF CONCEPTUALISING task helps us to increase our self awareness, gain a greater sense of control over our own lives and how we can steer them and makes us far more able to communicate within our relationships as we are able to understand our own feelings and process them in a way that is clear, precise and honest. We finally become able to recognise our beliefs and values on a level that stands convicted and determined, which makes us able to weather storms and not get flustered and blown around by external troubles or woes. Which then makes us able to stand stronger for others as we are finally that tree that can offer shade and protection.
This level of self realisation can come at any time or age but It can only come with a level of maturity and understanding so, if you are a parent or adult reading or listening to this that struggles with the wildness and chaos of youth and finds it difficult to cope with the behaviours of those less able to pin down their emotions and deliver themselves with decorum and grace please know that, often the path to this place of self peace and discovery only comes once one has wandered in the wilderness of self abandonment, which in a way is what a lot of the younger gens do in order to find the path back at a later stage (as we spoke about above but with a safe space for them to return to please), Not all who wander are lost and we must remember the young get a rite of passage to go their own way because that in itself is part of the great exploration of self so in case you are like me, the parent of a teen something that doesn’t want to embody the role you want them to play, they want to create their own role but unfortunately a) wardrobe, hair and make up quit b) the writers have a 9 day hangover and c) There’s no glitzy budget to take it from Shameless to Vanity fair in a realistic manner so…….we work with what we’ve got, each going our own way and that way can only be judged by each SELF according to each SELF’S desired means
SO HOW DO WE DO THIS?
Well, there are a fair few ways in which we can do this. Some are simple, ready in minute noodles that are great ways to check in on the regular such as:
MIRROR IMAGE

You see yourself in the mirror every day when you are getting ready for the day ahead. You see your SELF as it stands before you and you do the stock take on 1) whether it’s a good hair day 2) Whether you need a de-puffer facial 3) How many greys this morning 4) Oh I need a haircut 5) Should maybe not have drank all that wine and eaten all those chocolates and 6) should have maybe instead lifted a few weights or done a plank or 2
But, this is a level of superficiality. It’s fine. We do this to stock check and make sure the shelves are presented as well as they can be but, what about the deeper things? What’s on the shelf? Can everyone see the labels peeling off? Can everyone else see I’m getting to the ‘sell by date?’ Why does no one ever want the broken tins and why are the cheaper items always at the bottom 😦
How can we redefine the shop front so that every shelf aka all your values, beliefs, moods, styles, outfits, masks, relationships, accounts and experiences all look like they’ve just come off the Chanel conveyor belt with a sprinkling of Jesus all wrapped in a ribbon, no use by or sell by date required?
We’ve got to go into the depths of the back office and the warehouse and do some deep reflection on what you’re putting out in order to make sure that YOUR STORE has the best of the best, creme de la creme. You’ve got to ask, is this what I want? Is this my vision? THE BEST VERSION OF ME? And really look hard at what’s inside the inside of the store.
STORE OF VALUE AUDIO

THE MATERIAL WORLD IS AN ILLUSION. A TEMPORARY TRANSIENT EXPRESSION OF THE ALL, THE ETERNAL, WHAT WE TRULY ARE. THEY ASKED THE SOUL “WHENCE DO YOU COME SLAYER OF MEN, OR WHERE ARE YOU GOING, CONQUEROR OF SPACE?” THE SOUL ANSWERED “WHAT BINDS ME HAS BEEN SLAIN AND WHAT TURNS ME ABOUT HAS BEEN OVERCOME AND MY DESIRE HAS ENDED AND IGNORANCE DIED. IN AN AEON I WAS RELEASED FROM A WORLD AND IN A TYPE FROM A TYPE AND FROM THE FETTER OF OBLIVION WHICH IS TRANSIENT. FROM THIS TIME ON WILL I ATTAIN TO THE REST OF THE TIME, OF THE SEASON, OF THE AEON, IN SILENCE”’
BACK TO MIRROR MIRROR…..
Looking into your own eyes is often quite an emotional game to play. It can be very triggering to ‘check yourself’ and really be open and honest about how you feel. Having that conversation with yourself can be one of the hardest conversations to have because often we go through life playing ‘THE ROLE’ but we cast ourselves as extras or back up roles. We never give ourselves PROTAGONIST status and admit that we’re the star of the show.
That doesn’t mean we have to get all Mariah Carey about life. We don’t all have to diva up but it means that we are the lead role depending on what that role looks like to you and we need to move up to the front and centre and know the script front to back so that we don’t stand there with our pants down and freeze up on opening night.
“Ah but I’m shy.” Cool, great, you can still be shy. Again I repeat, we are not all Mariahs. But you still need to get to centre stage. The lights and cameras are upon you. You look up from your place in centre stage and realise you’re all alone and cast a glance out into the audience in front of you. Looking back at YOU, who do you see? What are they expecting from you? How do they feel? How do you feel they feel? Are you going to put on a show?
Ok, for those of you that aren’t great with the theatrics and the creative endeavors, I thought I’d make it slightly easier and seen as how we all have to do it every year anyway, I figured I’d give you the template for your ANNUAL TAX RETURN as the assignment for module 3 and while we’re aiming to GET AS CREATIVE AS POSSIBLE, this is going to be more of a quantitative way of seeing how well you’ve done over the year or what needs working on but,
Before we get into that, let’s get back to looking at self reflection – Mirror work in particular is a great exercise to regularly practice self recognition. Look at yourself and ask:
- How do I really feel and why?
- What is holding me back from achieving my breakthroughs and how can I release myself
- Do I feel safe? Do I feel protected? Do I feel valued?
- What do I need in order to feel I am safe, protected, valued?
- Am I happy?
- Am I connected?
- Am I where I wish to be?
- If not, how can I change this?
- How can I protect myself?
- How can I love myself more?
- Do I trust myself?
- Who am I?
Just a note on POSITIVE SELF REFLECTION AND CONCEPTUALIZING – It is great to check in and have a word with self as often as possible but, as with all things, there are negative connotations to bare in mind
When Self-Reflection Becomes Unhealthy
Self-reflection is a healthy practice that is important for mental well-being. However, it can become harmful if it turns into rumination, self-criticism, self-judgement, negative self talk and comparison to others.
Here’s what that could look like:
- Rumination: Experiencing excessive and repetitive stressful or negative thoughts. Rumination is often obsessive and interferes with other types of mental activity.
- Self-judgement: Constantly judging yourself and often finding yourself lacking.
- Negative self-talk: Allowing the voice inside your head to discourage you from doing things you want to do. Negative self-talk is often self-defeating.
- Self-criticism: Constantly criticizing your actions and decisions.
- Comparison: Endlessly comparing yourself to others and feeling inferior.
COMPARISONS
Ah the way we all love to look at others and take pieces of them to make our own living doll versions of each other
If only I could have:
Jennifer Aniston’s hair, Elle Macpheresons body, Cameron Diaz’s eyes, Sophia Lorens smile, J K Rowling’s brain, Gwyneth Paltrow’s legs, Princess Diana’s heart, Princess Catherine’s glamour and Sarah Jessica Parkers shoe collection
In so many ways, Comparisons are super healthy and are fantastic ways to honor the qualities we like in others whilst also recognizing the things we seem to not like about ourselves so we can go about finding a way to honor them too.
I’ve got very fine Nordic fly away hair. It doesn’t get very long because of how fine it is so I’ve always envied people like Anna Kournikova for her super long thick braided hair but, I realized with quirky styling and tips and tricks to get it to look reasonably fab, that actually, I can make the most of what I’ve got. We always envy in others what we dislike in ourselves but as we hopefully have seen throughout this entire module, the value and love we hold for ourselves and others runs deeper than just ‘A GOOD HAIR DAY’ and is more about how deeply and kindly we treat each other and ourselves with real unconditional love and respect.
Some of the sexiest people I’ve ever met have been big women and men (but mainly women) that embody confidence and charisma and exude a certain essence of ‘Je ne se quoi’ while some of the most insecure, self sabotaging people I have met are utterly stunning doll like figures but, they have eating disorders, lack self belief and self trust and they aren’t sure of themselves or the intention of others at all
On a personal note, I have grown up a skinny, reasonably attractive individual that could turn a head or two back in my prime. I had a certain confidence but was inexperienced, doubtful, not trusting and fairly insecure about life until I hit motherhood. After then, I gained practicality, a certain mature wisdom and confidence and a fair bit of weight. I then wasn’t noticed as much as I used to be but, because I didn’t care about the validation of others but rather my own validation, I found a way to finally notice myself. I have more love for myself and accept myself far more now that I ever did in my younger years
Physicality is only a part of self discovery and one that over time changes and changes and we have the full power to facilitate shifts to suit us but, in the off chance life throws us curve balls such as ‘MY BODY HAS GOT FAR BIGGER THAN I EVER THOUGHT IT COULD GET’ ,the lesson then becomes A) How to love that body regardless because you’re more than just the appearance package and B) Do you have what it takes to transform yourself into the person you truly want to be if looks truly do count?
Looks aside, as we mentioned in STORE OF VALUE, our worth and wealth is far more than dollar bills or 0‘s and 1’s. Our worth is far deeper than our looks. Sure, we could be pretty AF and married to Don Wealth. It’s the stereotypical ‘match made in heaven’ and what everyone seems to aim for. Barbie and Ken in their kingdom. GUYS, IT’S NOT REAL!
We saw this in Barbie. She was scared to death of dying and had morning breath. NO ONE IS PERFECT. This idolatry life and false expectation illusion we all put on ourselves is crippling! It’s not what’s valuable, important, worth it or real. Again, we need to figure out what is real. What is really worth our efforts and attention
IDOLATRY AND CELEBRITY STARDOM / FAN GIRL/BOY ATTITUDES ARE GIVING YOUR POWER AWAY TO SELL OUTS!
THE KARDASHIANS WON’T LOVE YOU BACK GUYS!
LOVE YOURSELF MORE!
While we are going to get on with assignment 3 on a practical level explained below, I would love to ask at this point if everyone doing this module could kindly share a picture of themselves in front of a mirror and share it on our facebook page so we can build our SELF DEVELOPING community? You can get as creative and abstract as you like. You don’t have to ‘show your face’ or you can, but it will be a contribution that will later get expanded onto our MIRROR MIRROR workshop that I am hoping to get a communal flow with! You can also get friends and fam involved should you wish for the communal album of light reflections SO PLEASE JOIN IN! HERE IS MINE:
KATHRYN HELEN MIRROR MIRROR

We’re going to look over some typical archetypes and ways in which you can discover a little bit more about YOU via tool-kits and explorations that might help you make sense of your tax filings and where all your receipts, papers, contracts etc might have come from
ARCHETYPES
There are various tools that give explanation and either poetic or analytic definition to the archetypes. Some of them are explanatory and are based on ‘making sense’ of the way we operate and fit into the world around us. Some are more intuitive and offer insights that come from an unknown, used to help us perceive our place in the world where facts and figures cannot assist.
For most of us, we have been conditioned to consider Science as the thing that offers us FACTS and therefore are only really happy to consider science based solutions to solve our problems or offer insight to inquiry. However, I strongly consider that although other forms don’t offer concrete YES NO answers to questions and instead encourage you to dig deeper into your creative mind and paint answers in pictures instead of 1’s and 0’s, when I speak of these below, I would ask that you kindly consider them for what they are and not write them off because you ‘don’t believe in them’ or consider them quacky. Often, the quacky things can be fantastic tools and fun, deep ways to render depth inquiry and see things from perspectives you never knew existed. It’s not about finding the definitive answer or truth but rather to explore the potentials and find new ways to see things that can open doors you never knew existed. Growth happens when we accept both the known and the unknown. You cannot have one without the other
So, we will look at 3 types of ARCHETYPAL TOOLS and they are:
- 16personalities NERIS Analytical personality dynamics
- Astrology – FULL chart based zodiacs and not just your horoscopes according to Vogue magazine
- Tarot cards and the archetypes according to Carl Jung for depth self- reflection
PLEASE NOTE, I WILL DO AN AUDIO FILE FOR THE ASTROLOGY SECTION AS I KNOW NOT EVERYONE WILL BE KEEN TO READ THROUGH THE DETAILS AS IT IS NOT EVERYONE’S CUP OF TEA BUT, I DO ENCOURAGE YOU TAKE A LISTEN AS IT IS ACTUALLY ONE OF THE DEEPEST TOOLS TO USE FOR SELF-DISCOVERY AND ANALYSIS
16 PERSONALITIES NERIS ANALYTICS
One of the best ways to aid any journey of self-discovery is via certain tool-kits that offer insight into the human mind, psyche and behavior. One of the most popular tools is via an analytical profiling tool called 16 personalities. Yes, of course this is generic and very limited in terms of what can be deciphered via these means and there are probably far more than 16 personality types in operation within the collective field but, from a baseline perspective, they offer great insights into the type of person you are and how experiences are influences based on your ‘personal signature’
Remember that, we are transformative and ever changing beings existing within an ever changing human body, mind and social environment so, you may one day find that you embody types that offer a result as “X” but the next time you seek results (and this isn’t something that changes weekly of even monthly perse) you might find you resonate more with a “Y” result but, for the most part they can offer you the understanding of each persona that suggests a fit for you
Whenever I do this quiz, I always get back the result of THE MEDIATOR. I would agree with this result very much and it comes through 80% of the time that I have over the years seeked answers to my self-searching inquiries. The other 20% of the time, the only other answer I have ever received is that of THE PROTAGONIST, which funnily makes a lot of sense given what I have written about above with regards to us ALL being protagonists in the grand PLAY OF LIVE. I think I only get this result however when I am feeling more extroverted and sure of myself and feel more capable of ‘putting the world to rights’ in a dynamic way.
But I urge you all to have a look at the quiz and see what responses come through for you. The results are based on
- Your outward personality
- Your inward personality
- Your emotional structure
- Your fears
- Your values
- Your relationships
- How you communicate
- Your strengths
- Your weaknesses
- Your overall
Remember, nothing is an exact science. Life is NOT black and white however much we wish it could be because that would make it seemingly all far easier but alas, it’s a complex diverse soup of sassy, scary sentimental souls sinking and swimming towards an unknown.
KNOWING WHO YOU ARE IS THE FUNDAMENTAL KEY TO RISING TO THE TOP AND BEING ABLE TO WALK ON WATER
ASTROLOGY
As stated above, you can find the detail to this section on the AUDIO FILE below but please let me state first for those that perhaps think that I am talking about generic horoscopes that you might well find in a magazine, this IS NOT what this section is about. Rather it looks at codes, calendars, charts, angles, degrees and time – A science of its own that based on your time of birth can portray various depictions and paint portraits of your whole life based on planetary influence, stars, celestial movement and prophecy so IT IS NOT FOR YOU TO BELIEVE in black and white structure but to take inspiration from in a way that speaks poetry into the cosmos and that can show you angles and degrees you may never have considered. Don’t close the door on this one. It is a ride and a half once you get going!

TAROT ACCORDING TO PSYCHIATRIST CARL JUNG
Carl Jung, a psychotherapist and close associate of Sigmund Freud, was the first individual to bring the theory of archetypes to life. Carl studied legends, myths, dreams, and came to the conclusion that we’re all born with an instinctive ability to identify and comprehend archetypes.
Moreover, he believed that we’re all pre-programmed to search for archetypes in our day-to-day lives, because they act as a blueprint for understanding the inner workings of the world. Carl’s descriptions of common archetypes are the wise old man, the maiden, and the hero.
Other archetypes include the shadow, the hidden, antisocial and dark side of human nature; the father, a physical and protective guardian or parent; the mother, a nurturing and emotional guardian or parent; the animus, the masculine aspect of a woman’s personality; the anima, the feminine aspect of a man’s personality; and the rebel or the trickster, an archetype characterized by rebellion and manipulation.
FOR FURTHER DETAILS AND EXPLORATION, PLEASE HEAD OVER TO KNOW YOUR ARCHETYPES
Let’s get on to ANIMA AND ANIMUS
ANIMA ANIMUS

As promised in MODULE 2 post the Peter Pan shadow self audio, here is the Carl Jung map of the Psyche
Anima and Animus are essential archetypes in Jungian psychology.
Psychiatrist Carl Jung writes in The Development of Personality,1
Every man carries within him the eternal image of a woman, not the image of this or that particular woman, but a definite feminine image … The same is true of the woman: she too has her inborn image of man.
The Anima is Latin for Soul. It represents the feminine aspect of a man’s unconscious.
The Animus is Latin for mind or spirit. It represents the masculine component of a woman’s unconscious.
Within us all exists the polar fields of both masculine and feminine energies. As you can read about in the DEAR CHILD BOOK this is explained by saying it is like the PLUS MINUS on a battery. The 2 fields must marry and fit before they can CHARGE energetically
Therefore in all of us, we carry both energetics. Our left and our right are our polar fields in, on, around and within our physical body. Some of us have a higher charge from one to the other. My understanding is that neither imbalance is right or wrong but rather the necessary gradient or level of flow in order to get back to a neutral standpoint in the middle of both left and right

To a man the anima is the Mother of God who gives birth to the Divine Child. To a woman the animus is the Holy Spirit, the pro-creator.
Below is taken from the Scott Jeffrey Anima Animus collection
Defining the Anima Archetype
The Anima animates and gives life. She is the source of life for men. She is the eternal image of woman carried within all men.
The Anima as Muse
Creative geniuses have called her by many names: Muse, Guide, Poetic Voice, la femme inspiritice (the feminine spirit).
In literature, the Anima is expressed as Helen, who inspired the epic battle at the city of Troy. And Beatrice, who was immortalized in Dante’s Divine Comedy.
The Anima as Messenger
The Anima is the home of the virtues residing in the heart of man. She is the gentle carrier of a man’s soul and the gatekeeper of his inner world.
For Jung, the Anima is the messenger between a man’s conscious personality and the collective unconscious—the universal repository of all archetypes
The Anima as the Source of Meaning
Without a connection to his Anima, a man is without a sense of meaning. She is the mistress of his power and strength.
As Jungian Robert A. Johnson writes in Lying with the Heavenly Woman:
Almost all of a man’s sense of value, worth, safety, joy, contentment, belongingness and happiness derive from his inner feminine nature… Men, in their arrogance, generally think it is their strength, possessions and dominations that bring them happiness. But it is not so. Happiness is feminine in a man, a feeling quality and generally mysterious to him.
A man hungers for validation in his masculine world but this validation can only come via his feminine side. He searches for this validation to experience completeness.
This search for completeness drives him initially on a quest for a physical woman, but later, on an inner journey to his own feminine nature—his Anima.
Helen of Troy

Defining the Animus Archetype
The Animus is the male aspect within both the personal and collective unconscious of women.
Jung explains in Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious,
Woman is compensated by a masculine element and therefore her unconscious has, so to speak, a masculine imprint. This results in a considerable psychological difference between men and women, and accordingly I have called the projection-making factor in women the animus, which means mind or spirit.
According to Jung, the Animus is a “psychopomp, a mediator between the conscious and the unconscious and a personification of the latter.”
The Animus is the gatekeeper to the genuine spiritual life of a woman. He can seem so powerful and god-like that her conscious ego feels worthless and helpless by comparison.
Also as the gatekeeper, we can look at this concept as a vessel into the spiritual realms through a woman via sexual contact and this again is why I highlight in the book DEAR CHILD that our sexual essence is in fact our purest and most sacred attribute and the easiest target for us to be destroyed via our environment. Once we know this, we will never again allow for our sexual source energy to be harnessed and used against us.
The woman is often overwhelmed and shocked by the recognition of her Animus. As Jungian Robert A. Johnson explains,
If she sees that she has a godlike element within, the result is exhilarating, much like a peak experience. She is now in great danger of “falling in love with himself.”
It is through her confrontation and differentiation with her Animus that she initiates the process of building consciousness.
Jungian Barbara Hannah calls the Animus the “spirit of inner truth in women.”
I will at this stage state, that we go on to talk about psychopomps in various aspects in our HUMAN ANIMAL BOND workshops and also in our HOLY TRINITY workshops where we discuss more on the anima animus but, as mentioned in the Astrology audio, Hermes, the God of messages is able to go between worlds to ‘collect the mail’ and deliver messages between here, there and everywhere. This is why the delivery courier company Hermes is called Hermes. Other psychopomps are bees, dogs and yes, WOMEN!
Jung and the Search for the Soul
A lot of Jung’s work was focused on man’s search for the soul. He strongly believed that we each have an autonomous personality that structures our inner world.
He further believed that this autonomous personality is projected out onto the world, shaping how we experience external reality.
To Jung, this personality represented the soul.
The challenge was that the “soul” has religious overtones with a different meaning. For example, to many Christians, the soul represents the eternal aspect of the individual that inhabits the physical body.
This classic understanding of the soul differed from what Jung attempted to elucidate, so he landed on the Latin terms Anima and Animus instead.
Jung’s experience analysing dreams, fairy tales, and myths led him to conclude that women experienced this inner spirit (Animus) as masculine while men experienced this Soul as feminine (Anima).
We will talk more about the spiritual / soulful side our our being and experience in MIRROR MIRROR when we deep dive even further into the question of WHO ARE YOU? Who we are in all aspects as moving too deeply into this at this foundational stage as said above could maybe overwhelm but, consider it an exciting future unfolding.
EMPATHS AND NARCISSISTS

As we have explored the principle concepts of shadow work and the importance of shadow work for
SELF REFLECTION
ACCOUNTABILITY
SELF ACCEPTANCE
SELF WORTH
SELF APPRECIATION
SELF KNOWING
SELF TRUST
SELF BELIEF
Sometimes a person has to hit rock bottom in order to begin the journey of ascension back up the ladder to SELF
The pits of destruction, decay, grief, tragedy, a living hell whether self created or otherwise (It’s always self created) are often the foundations by which we re-create and re-build our life. They are the building blocks we use to climb higher and as we cement them into the ground we do so with enough integrity, conviction and cement to make sure that they don’t fall lose and need a re-visit
But what happens when we don’t want to do our shadow work and see the harshness of life? The real evil and pain that exists out there? It’s there whether we like it or not and part of the reason we exist in this place of polarity is to see it and honour it for you can’t have good without bad, light without dark, happy without sad, love without……Now I’m not a fan of HATE. It isn’t a real emotion at all, it isn’t anything other than the absence of love but nonetheless we seem to conjure it up often.
I cannot bear the term narcissist. I believe that narcissists are simply unconscious souls riddled in pain and they cannot see the mirror nor do they even know it is a mirror. They are so broken and fragmented that they have allowed themselves to detach so much from the pure world around them, practicing self-sabotage and self-destruction in order to be able to manipulate and control others. The reason for their need for control is because they cannot exist at that level of deep unconsciousness without it. It is the only thing they know how to do in order to sub-exist in the form that they are in. They are riddled with parasitic attachments and entities that feed off them therefore they are unable to climb up from the pit of snakes and infestations that use them to try to pull others down to their level.
They usually attach themselves to empaths through means of charm, persuasion and illusive coercion and will offer all what they think the empath wants but will never be able to deliver because a) It was never their real intention and b) It is not themselves controlling the situation it is something else – They need the empath because deep down they know the empath is the light they seek but it also provides them with the ability to feed the parasites through dark emotions such as jealousy, betrayal, deceit and pain
The empath will fall time and time again into the clutches of these demonically infected people because they often believe they can save them, which in a sense is also a covert form of narcissism without the packaging but also because of their pure intention is to offer genuine love for that other person. And it will take repetitive instances of abuse, neglect and torment until someone decides to break free and heal, if at all they get this far
As I have said in the DEAR CHILD book, HURT PEOPLE HURT PEOPLE. It is the role of a narc to keep that hurt going. They know no other way. But it is the role of the empath (the emotional pathway) to show the narc that there is another way.
This can ONLY happen through intentional practice where you are very aware that you are the mirror and your duty is to offer light and insight. Nothing more. If you are not able to do this then the only thing you can do is walk away.
You cannot heal another, you can only heal yourself and where we have been damaged and abused by narcissistic people time and time again, we have to heal ourselves completely before we can ever aim to help another
Do I believe that narcissists can heal and become empathic people? YES and we will talk about this in the next workshop MIRROR MIRROR because the answer to that equation is a very far out and complex one so for anyone interested, please check in but, I just would like to finish off by saying
That when we do mirror reflection work and as mentioned above, BE REAL AND HONEST with yourself. If you feel you are in a negative space, own that and admit it. Be aware of it and look it in the eye for it is when we don’t that we can get sent lower and lower and fall into places and spaces we then find it difficult to get out of. We don’t ever want to admit we are hurtful towards others but the first person we shouldn’t hurt is ourselves so, keep checking in on you – Stay gold
I will leave you with this fantastic YOUTUBE piece called ‘THEY WILL BETRAY YOU’ and whether or not you wish to consider this perspective from a spiritual point of view or not, the message of the piece is to understand the works at play between the powers of the light and dark, the shadow self, the empath and the narcissist. I hope it enlightens your heart!
Ok, now we are going to look at how we can start to get creative and inspired through some deep cleansing practice and literary inspiration through cathartic cleansing – What is that I hear you say?
CATHARSIS
With roots in ancient religious practices of purification and cleansing and in ancient medicine’s purgings, Plato evolved a verbal catharsis for diseases of the soul, and Aristotle developed a catharsis of the passions through tragic drama. Through the centuries, most cultures have had recognized contexts in which emotions were evoked, heightened in intensity, and ultimately released or discharged; and cathartic procedures can be detected in many cultures’ healing practices. The late decades of the nineteenth century saw the emergence of numerous psychological healings with a cathartic basis. Catharsis came to mean the lively remembering of a traumatic experience in addition to the emotional release; Subsequently, the notion that the recovered traumatic memories needed to be integrated with the rest of the patient’s mental life became a third significant element. The significance of these three factors has been debated vigorously; but, whether it has been some combination of them or merely the emotional discharge, there has been a cathartic element in many twentieth-century approaches to psychological healing.
Let’s audio this one as it’s pretty deep!
CATHARSIS AUDIO
So, now that we’ve plunged into some pretty deep pools here through various forms of self reflective practice, self guiding theories via archetypes, self analysis, self discovery and a number of past traumatic memory cleansing protocols in order to do our heavy healing and releasing we should be ready to look at what we’re going to put into and onto our END OF YEAR ACCOUNTS,
As with all accounts, we need to have a yearly review of our
INS AND OUTS
CASH FLOW AND EXPENDITURES

DIVIDENDS AND SALARIES
FINAL DECLARATION
ARE YOU READY?
