THE ROOT CAUSE!
This is your 1st assignment, a gentle starting point in how you can tap in to your past timelines and experiences / memories and start to put the pieces back together – All our input is based on TRAUMA INFORMED PROTOCOLS and proven techniques to assist you in moving through your healing journey. Remember, we are all different and everyone has their own pace which is why we feel our program is such a great accessible tool for self-guided functional trauma healing

To start with, please download your copy of my book DEAR CHILD and read away in your own time. Each weekly assignment and check in will be based on each chapter so week 1 will be chapter 1, week 2 chapter 2 and so on.

This week will cover a lot of baseline trauma concepts and scenarios to set a level of understanding so you can identify your own triggers – It will then move into conceptualizing what is and what should have been and could be a very healthy, sacred and beautiful childhood – It will then move into creating safe zones so that when we explore memory recall via our own past experiences, we know we are safe to go as deep as we want and then lastly, we will commence ASSIGNMENT 1, which will be a very interactive and interpersonal timeline / vision board and journal creation for you to re-connect, play and explore the world of emotions and imagination with your own Inner child in both the past, present and future!

HOW TO CREATE A SAFE SPACE
The very 1st thing we need to do when doing any sort of regressional healing work is to make sure that we are creating a safe space for us to explore within. This is essential groundwork that can become very ritualistic as we move deeper into our practice and can be continued later down the line with any form of self-healing therapy and practice where we are becoming more self-connected and aware.











Now that you know how to set up somewhere safe for you to channel or feel in to your inner world and memories, try to spend a couple of times a week dedicating a good hour or so to some alone time where you can go deep, recall, journal an explore the timelines of your journey from whence it began. It is also advisable that every day, a 10 minute awareness breathwork session might be a good idea just to help train you to start develop a more conscious awareness to the work and practice you are initiating and developing.

THE MANY WAYS IN WHICH TRAUMA DEVELOPS
Here, we’re going to go through various examples of where trauma in childhood might come from and in case any of these things relate to you, please make a mental note to perhaps go back to these past experiences and emotions when you are settling into your safe space to explore the past. I will also include the cause and effect on various personality traits and developed disorders that are common from unprocessed trauma from our past
HERE WE GO – BACK TO THE BEGINNING












EMOTIONALLY UNAVAILABLE PARENTS – LOOKING BACK ACROSS THE GENERATIONS, WHERE WE COME FROM WAS OFTEN A COLDER, STRICTER AND NOT AS EMOTIONALLY OPEN SPACE 😦





When we come from such a strict, expectant society / family / environment where goals are set upon us and we must comply, obey, succeed, it can lead to HUGE overwhelm and pressure. Often our early lives were created and steered for us by very irresponsible or emotionally tapped out adults and we had to do as we were told or else risk being deemed failures or problem children and the unfortunate result of these causes lead to the effects to look as follows:









THE PARENT CHILD RELATIONSHIP AUDIO

In a society where we are actively encouraged to be ‘do’ers’ instead of ‘be’ers’, the above effects from our childhood trauma causes then later lead to an adult life of either overwhelm caused by a suitably pressurized job environment to suit your self-created perfectionist title, a whole load of addictions be it alcohol, smokes, drugs (rec and pharma) engaging in disassociated sexual relations, shopping addictions, box set binges etc all to numb the pain and distract the mind from emotions and memories of said causes – Below is for all and any of you that are workaholics because of pressures put on you as young children and adults to ‘BE GOOD’ and ‘BE SOMEONE’ and in case now you’re feeling the numbness or burnout, ask yourself, is it worth it?











I hope you didn’t find any of that too triggering and I know from those I have worked with in workshops presenting this previously, a few did express that the realization of a lot of what is detailed above hit nerves when they thought about it on a deeper level – When we get to module 2 and we explore the shadow self, you will come to realize why perhaps these past realizations and connecting the dots cuts deep is because of our unconscious mind and the parts and pieces we have cast aside because ‘they are the unlikable / bad parts / junk files but, we have to integrate our shadow and allow these parts of us to also exist otherwise we are only existing in fractals and not the whole self. The parts we don’t like to realize, acknowledge and see whether they are from us or from another person can’t stay buried.
LETS GET INTO THE FIXING, MIXING AND HOW TO START TO SHAPE NEW SPACES WITH A START ON ASSIGNMENT 1

The final part of this assignment is a deep somatic exploration that, now you have your safe space in order and hopefully a better understanding of what is expected, you can now start to implement some integrated functional practice in to your journey. It is very similar to the protocols above but this explores far deeper somatic reference and integration

Please remember, as mentioned in the audio intro above, sometimes a lot of reflective retrograde work might be highly triggering. Often when we are healing, our bodies feel pain, start to hurt and there are sensory triggers that show up as a way of saying ‘I’M WORKING’. This is deeply significant and highly normal after being asleep in memories for so long.
The same applies for your emotional body. It might surface a lot that makes you feel very unsettled, uncomfortable and unsure but please know, this is just a part of the journey and not the final destination.

As we move through the workshop, you will notice that a lot of what I ramble about on audios are recorded podcasts that I have previously used, interviews and other content that is exclusive to this portal. I chose not to use the podcasts related to this workshop on our LIVE PODCAST SERIES ‘HELLO FROM THE OTHER SIDE’ as the nature of the content is really only specific to here so I kindly ask that
A) You understand that there is a fair bit of waffle as they were always intended as podcast episodes for this degree of output so you will always have them to go back to or listen to in your own time (I will link a collection of Audios at the end of module 4 for further listening in case anyone is interested and
B) I ask you not to share them online or outside of this portal / workshop as they were from a previous podcast series that may at some point get reinstated so for now, they are only for use on here and for you all x
