Welcome to PORTAL 2 – The art of cycle syncing!
We are going to spend this portal 2 journey exploring the way back to our body and what that means
Now, I’m not a grounded person for the most part. I admit. It’s not ideal but, this is also where I can show up and say, that because of this, I am clear about where my body has led me into situations of panic and stress and because I’ve not been grounded (I’m very airey fairy and watery), I can honestly see where and why issues have occured.
To really know your body, you have to ground into it.
So, we created this portal via the blending of 2 specific domains of:
- THE SCIENCE – Knowing the science of the body, brain, hormones, chemicals and how all of these fuctions play out via scientific fact
- THE INTUITION – Feeling out the senses and impulses of our body as the messanger that turns on to send us signals to let us know when somethings on or off
- THE SOUTIONS – Based on again, both the science of solutions AND the nature of our gut intuition
MEET OUR SCIENTIFIC LEAD – FELICITY TAYLOR
Felicity is our in house functional diagnostic nutritionist, herbalist and hormone health specialist from SA but based in Barcelona, Spain. She is currently a trainee endocrinologist in a busy private department in Barcelona which focuses specifically on diabetes, adrenal disorders and thyroid health
She started out as a clinical dietitian and began to explore healing modalities through the use of food / herbs, especially within the beautiful realms of TCM herbs and practice which then became her latter major when she started to incorporate it into her female hormonal health projects and tracking plans, which she includes here for our clients
Over the years she created some fab pieces on hormone science, sync cycling, recipes and more which she loves to put into practice to track results
Thanks to the science, which spans the first 35 pages of our ART OF SYNCING GUIDE, Felicity details the hows and whys so many of us struggle with our hormone health and what we can do about them
But then, after the science lesson, we get to explore the fun stuff….Such as, the cycles and seasons, the soulful part of who we are and why, and the many recipes (40+) and creative tools we can explore and use to really start making a difference with our bodies and bring them back into alignment

As with ALL our portals, each portal will include a creative element so that you can spend some time at the end of the topic putting everything you have learned throughout your exploration into some kind of creative format.
An example, for PORTAL 2, I decided to do a drawing of a human body with a butterfly in the throat to honor the thyroid and the transformation we all go through throughout the journey we have in our human body.
My colleague Felicity decided to do a collection of Russian dolls to show how all of our ancestral DNA linneage is passed down throughout each of us from generation to generation – Really beautiful!
