Guys! I am so proud and pleased to say that I have finally completed my training this June 2023 in Somatic movement and breathwork and I am finally now able to offer this traid therapy workshop of talk, move, breath thanks to my EFT training and my somatic movement exploration!
So with this, I have decided to offer a monthly workshop that incorporates all 3 areas
- TALK – An open group empty chair session (those clients in my soma talk are more than welcome to join also) where we look at discussing our emotions and thoughts in an open context and share the overriding feelings as they come up, releasing some of our worries and tensions through group chat dynamics, including some EFT tapping techniques and making notes of any important or beneficial feedback throughout. We will finish the session with some affirmations and positive feedback from the group
- MOVE – We will then start to work on some overall body movement and awareness through movement that will be floor based, very gentle and will involve a lot of EFT practices, some slow energetic work that looks at hands on the body and ways to channel energy through your fingertips and palms across the meridians and pathways. We will practice some deep hip opening exercises, some back work, releasing through the shoulders and neck and some core and ribcage work that will help to regulate your nervous system and re-channel all your energy to start to flow in the right direction. This is a fantastic way to tap in to your body and start to feel the signals that show up. You will, overtime, start to intuitively hear the messages your body is telling you and through this gentle movement and breathwork combination, you will naturally release trauma through the movement channels.
- BREATH – Breathing out all that we internalise! Wash breath – Breath in the white light and washing away our pain and trauma. Using the breath as a rinse aid to flush out toxins and impurities. We will then move on to a 3 stage breathing process, breathing in beats that will help us to regulate and tap in to higher states of consciousness / awareness. We will warm up with some alternate nostril breathing and fire breathing, then move in to alkaline breathing to tone the vagus nerve, humming exhales and then some deep box belly and chest breathing before ending with a nidra breath relaxation.
- TALK AND REFRESHMENTS – We will finish off the workshop with some light refreshments and a conclusive chat about how everyone is feeling. At this time, based on how you’re feeling, we will offer some essential oil pulse point blends as a blessing to the emotions that have joined us during the day and we will end with a final poem and affirmation for everyone that attended
Venue for each session will be announced in advance and payment can be made via the portal or calendar as each event goes live. Price will be £50 per person
