WELCOME TO THE CREATION STATION
This is the portal for our initial workshop CREATION STATION, the 1st of 12 portals that will be launched starting March 1st 2025
The objective to these portals are to offer a safe space for you to find yourself on the deepest level possible. We work in the realms of WORK / LIFE BALANCE and also EDUCATION, so we stream across all age demographics and environments and what we have found, is that:
- Nobody has time, money or resources available for complex therapy or ongoing counselling
- Everybody, regardless of age is experiencing a disconnect and are struggling to seek balance and feel fulfilled
- The stress and burnout across the spectrum of our work culture and home-lives has reached an all time pivot point where we need to seek restorative balance
- THE BEST WAY THAT WE HAVE OBSERVED AND ACTIONED ANY FORM OF HEALING THERAPY OR TRANSFORMATIVE PRACTICE ALWAYS INVOLVES SOME FORM OF ART OR CREATIVE INFLUENCE
WHAT DO WE MEAN BY THAT?
Kat is the founder of Humanology and the writer, creative designer and host of all the portals here online. For a bit of a brief intro into what Kat does and why, please listen below to the founding formation into her ART THERAPY PORTALS and why they work so much better than conventional therapies!
SO WHAT IS THE CREATION STATION?
The creation station is where you will arrive with your suitcase full of potential, paints, pallets and brushes to chose your train, destination, journey and which platform you need to head to in order to get there!
We believe that the reason conventional therapy often doesn’t offer success is because the framework it delivers from is itself quite rigid, cold and analytical. While that is often useful, it doesn’t allow for the deepest form of expression.
IMAGINATION!
I wrote a piece for the DEAR CHILD workshop about Alice in Wonderland and how she had decided that ‘in her world’….and the piece moved into forms of expression through the imagination – WHAT IS THE IMAGINATION?
So, myself and some of my colleagues have done some deep digging into the imagination. I MAGIC MY NATION (much like Alice was doing) or IMAGE NATION (how everything is a visual snapshot of our projected reality) – The use of the imagination is proof that our reality is created via our collective inspiration of the world inside and out, and then individually, we create our reality much the same through what we know we love, how we feel, what we want, what we find beautiful, pleasurable, desireable etc
The problem is, that we have been and continue to live in a reality that is dense, mundane, cold, non-expressive and quite frankly heartless. Whats so exciting about corporate 9-5? Grey, rainy commutes where noone smiles? Bland lunches, tired families gathering at the end of the day with not much to say…It’s not very inspiring is it? BUT, there’s POTENTIAL!
If you sat down for 10 minutes at the start or end of each day and thought about how you feel, really going inward and bringing out those feelings, you can use those feelins as the fuel to create your very own masterpiece
FEELING DARK, ANGRY, HURT, BITTER, RESENTFUL? PAINT IT, DRAW IT, SCULPT IT, WRITE IT, CHOP IT UP AND COOK IT
Any form of expressive creation outlet releases these emotions so they don’t stay stuck within you. It becomes a way to process your feelings which make sense of why you’re experiencing them and then guess what? Once you’ve released them….You start to feel a bit better…Then you can move on to deciding what you might like to create thats perhaps not so dark and gloomy. A space for you to envision the future, your hopes and dreams, a vision board for what you might like to manifest as a future reality

In a world that is insistent on keeping us numb and embedded within the weaved framework of ‘shoving down our emotions’ for the sake of profit and productivity, lets try to find a way back to the creative spark that gives light to a new timeline where we are all creators, artists, expressive creatures where imagination flows and we can all start to co-create something beautiful! We deserve it!
