KATHRYN ASHER BIO

Born and raised in West Yorkshire, Kathryn is a Humanities lecturer, writer, careers advisor for students and philosopher who has spent most of her life travelling, studying and living in far away places, questioning existence and helping people connect the dots to why we’re here and how to max our human experience in times of uncertainty!

Kathryn was raised by Yorkshires finest literary royals, aka Enid Blyton and the Bronte sisters. Her primary education saw her taught by the daughter of Enid Blyton. Her secondary at Casterton school, the school of the Bronte sisters some 166 years before her. She was strongly encouraged to follow a literary pathway and received great accolades from her teachers and mentors where only in humanities did she thrive. The other teaching faculty labelled her an outrageous rebel and trouble maker, much the same as Charlotte Bronte herself who’s bust stood in the ‘red corridor‘ watching all the girls in the pursuit of their education; Most being terrified of her, refusing to look at the bust as her eyes would follow your every move, Kathryn however understood completely that she had her back, for she also got labelled the same!

“A hero is someone who, in spite of weakness, doubt or not always knowing the answers, goes ahead and overcomes anyway.”~ The Hero’s Journey

And now, she is on a mission to inspire the youth generation in pursuit of their future quests and discover their own ‘heroes journey’. As AI comes crashing in uninvited, she is fiercely certain that we must keep the humanities alive. Kathryn works across Europe and the USA / Canada connecting with students with a particular interest in ‘International Relations, Politics, International Management and Arts and Humanities’ helping to lead them into whatever future career pathway is best suited for them based on their skills and interests but more so, by keeping the art of diplomacy and humanity alive through the core subjects or aspects of our humanity that gives depth of value, purpose and meaning into everything we do in the pursuit of our life experience

READ THE POEMS, MAKE THE ART, DANCE THE DANCE, MAKE LOVE NOT WAR, IF YOU MUST MAKE WAR SO DO WITH REASON AND SHAKE HANDS AT THE END, REMEMBER WHY WE’RE HERE! STAY ALIVE!

BE GREAT OR GO HOME
